This is a blog designed to inform others on web design technology. Recently, with new technology, we can develop extensive custom applications and plug them into a web design core. For example, the wordpress core allows for easy customization of templating and design that allows business’ and individuals the luxury of a comprehensive CMS (Content Management System) without having to re-invent the wheel. The site can be designed and customized relatively easy. Then any custom applications for the site can be developed as a plugin to the core. This allows programmers to spend the time on the application and less time on the intricate design of a CMS. No need to worry about how users or individual site managers will interface with the site admin because it is already tried and tested and appears to be very stable. My recommendations are to develop your site in this platform and then spend the time on the integration of you applications as plugins.
